Nike SB "Brain Wreck" Dunks

Offering a solid look into Todd Bratrud’s continued designs for Nike SB, Minneapolis-based Familia Skateshop hit us with images of the long awaited “Brain Wreck” Dunk Hi. The kicks, switched up a bit from earlier samples, feature a primarily Grey suede upper with Pink leather tongue and toe box and BRAIN WRECK font on the heels in White. Receiving first dibs on the kicks, Familia look to celebrate the occasion in style on October 9th, with a special launch party/art show featuring music by Plain Ole Bill (POS’ tour DJ) along with various special goodies in store.

Nike SB Dunks Custom Series V3

Inspired by images of 80’s-era skate videos featuring skate sessions on cars, Jon Humphries conceptualized the scene for Nike SB’s Custom Series Volume 3. The roster of skaters for the series were each given free reign on the colorway design of their own sneaker which included Daryl Angel (Dunk Low Premium SB), Clark Hassler (Blazer Low Hybrid Premium), Dustin Brock (Dunk Mid Premium SB) and Grant Taylor (Blazer SB Elite). Each skater will also see a t-shirt release alongside the shoes with releases starting in March with Angle and Hassler and ending in April with Brock and Taylor.
